Westminster Schools of Augusta seeks to glorify God by providing an excellent education that equips students to live extraordinary lives for Jesus Christ. Our educational program is grounded in a biblically-based Christian world view and distinguished by high academic challenge, character development and extracurricular opportunities.
A coeducational, independent, college-preparatory day school, Westminster serves 625 students in grades Pre-K through 12. The campus is comprised of 34 acres in a residential section of West Augusta. Lower School students occupy the self-contained Pamplin Hall. Across the campus, Westminster Middle School and Upper School students have separate classroom buildings but share athletic and co-curricular facilities with each other.
A variety of athletic and fine art opportunities combine with our strong academic programs to produce well-rounded students. With strong AP and SAT test results as well as knowledge of how to study, Westminster graduates are prepared for college and beyond. The school has received multiple state championship wins in athletics, and our students have received recognition in state and national fine arts competitions.
Our community is defined by winning traditions such as the Spirit Rock, Senior Parade and Johnny Appleseed Day. At Westminster, we believe that wisdom is more than knowledge and that learning requires the interaction of the head, the hands and the heart. Therefore, we seek to educate the whole person and introduce wonder back into the educational experience. Westminster has an open enrollment policy and is nondiscriminatory in its admissions and programs.
