Academics

Westminster Schools of Augusta seeks to glorify God by providing an excellent education that equips students to live extraordinary lives for Jesus Christ. Our educational program is grounded in a biblically based Christian world view and distinguished by high academic challenge, character development, and extracurricular opportunities.

A coeducational, independent day school, Westminster servesĀ 600 students in grades Pre-K through 12. The campus is comprised of 30 acres in a residential section of West Augusta. Lower School students occupy the self-contained Pamplin Hall. Across the campus, Westminster Middle School and Westminster Upper School have separate classroom buildings but share athletic and co-curricular facilities with each other.

Our community is defined by Winning traditions like the Spirit Rock, Senior Parade, and Johnny Appleseed Day. A variety of athletic and fine art opportunities combine with our strong academic programs to produce Well-Rounded students. At Westminster, we believe that Wisdom is more than knowledge and that learning requires the interact ion of the head, the hands and the heart. Therefore, we seek to educate the whole person and introduce Wonder back in to the educational experience.
