INVESTING YOUR TIME
Get involved in activities. Freshman year is a great time to try a lot of
things. Seek out leadership roles. Take the opportunity to visit a college
campus during vacations and travel.
ACADEMICS MATTER
Colleges do look at 9th grade curriculum and grades. Cultivate good study
habits now. If you are struggling in a class, seek out the help of your
teachers and advisors.
Although Westminster
calculates your
cumulative
numeric
average on a 100-point scale, the University of Georgia system (UGA, Georgia
Tech, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, etc.) and the HOPE Scholarship
calculate your grades on a 4.0 scale.
TESTING
