Upper School
Westminster’s Upper School (9th-12th)
The upper school years are a time of growth and change for our students. It is important that each student develops the skills and attains the knowledge base needed to excel in college. To this end, our teachers gradually increase both the academic challenge and the level of student academic independence, so that all students make a successful transition into their freshmen year at college.
Our goal also is to nurture and challenge each student’s spiritual life. Not only do students attend daily Bible classes and chapel once a week, they also attend classes during which teachers strive to demonstrate how biblical principles affect each area of academic study. Administration, faculty and coaches also seek to build Christian character and encourage our students toward deeper faith in our Lord in all contacts with students.
I am pleased to serve the Lord in this school and hope to help in any way that I am able. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about Westminster’s Upper School program.
Sincerely,
Craig Johnson
