Procedures for Admission

APPLICATION

     To begin the application process, a completed application and $75 application/testing fee must be submitted to the school along with a certified birth certificate and a copy of a recent report card and standardized test scores (unofficial copies are acceptable).  Please submit these documents to the Admissions office:

     Upon receipt of these items, parents will be notified of the scheduled dates for testing.  This procedure also applies if you are reactivating a previous application.

RECOMMENDATION
     Give the teacher recommendation forms to your child's current or most recent teachers of English/language arts and mathematics.  Because this form is confidential, each teacher will complete and mail it directly to Westminster.  As a courtesy to the teachers, please consider adding a stamp to the return envelope that has been provided with each recommendation.  Home schooled students should give the recommendation to a Sunday school teacher, coach, or to someone other than a parent that meets with your child in a group setting.
     Give the signed transcript release form to the office of the current or most recent school.

OBSERVATION/TESTING
     After our testing is completed and your transcript has been received, parents will be contacted by the Admissions office to discuss test results and the admission decision.

ADMISSIONS DECISION
     If you are offered an enrollment contract, return it within one week with the following documents:

  • Enrollment Information form
  • Certified copy of birth certificate
  • Georgia Immunization Certificate Form 3023 for students transferring from another Georgia school or Form 3231 for students transferring from a school outside the state of Georgia.
  • Georgia Certificate of Eye, Ear and Dental Examinations Form 3300
  • Tuition prepayment

     Items 3 and 4 may be included with the transcript, and they can be obtained from your local physician or a Georgia public health department.  Forms from other states are not acceptable under Georgia law.
     Once all forms have been submitted, the enrollment procedure will be complete and your child will be enrolled.  You will receive a copy of the enrollment contract signed by the headmaster.
