BASEBALL
The Westminster Varsity Baseball Team completed its first week in the Master City Summer League.  The ‘Cats played three games and picked up a well fought win against the Masters City team. Pitcher Shayne Rimer picked up the win, allowing only two runs.

Several ‘Cats hitters had multiple-hit games, including Kalon Hightower, Michael McCraith, Aaron Reynolds and Josh Woods.  They lost a close game to Cross Creek on Tuesday, May 8 on a strong pitching performance by freshman Bradley Carter and battled Hephzibah on Thursday, May 10, coming up short in that contest.

This week, our Boys Baseball team played two more games out at Masters City; Tuesday, May 15 at 6 p.m. and Thursday, May 17 at 8 p.m.  Game results will be forthcoming. Additional games are currently scheduled for May 25 at 6 p.m., May 29 at 8 p.m., May 31 at 8 p.m., June 1 at 6 p.m. and June 4 (time TBD).

Come out and cheer on the team as they do battle with other area high schools.
