Created by the FBI, the goal of this program is to ensure that participants can recognize and avoid potential dangers associated with the Internet. To accomplish this, the program addresses and defines topics of a serious nature such as seduction, child pornography, solicitation, exploitation, obscenity and online predators.
After two days of training in October, all students are given a posttest, and this quarter, seventh-grader Ellie Lynch’s score ranked her #13 out of 2,335 total seventh grade participants nationwide.
