Learn more about Westminster Schools of Augusta’s Arrowsmith/Cognitive Exercise Classroom for students with dyslexia and for students with learning differences who struggle in the traditional classroom at this information session. Parents of middle school-aged students and others interested in learning about the program are invited to attend. Westminster students and their parents currently in the program will speak about their experience, and attendees will have the opportunity to visit the Arrowsmith classroom.
The Arrowsmith classroom is based on brain plasticity research and seeks to strengthen cognitive capacities through intensive brain exercises. Westminster’s program is designed to help students become successful independent learners as they improve their cognitive abilities for better success in their current classes and into high school and college. Currently, Westminster is the only school offering this type of program in the CSRA.
