Forensics categories in which they participated were Dramatic Interpretation, Humorous Interpretation, Duo Interpretation, and Impromptu Speaking. This is one of the southeast’s largest forensics tournaments and has participating schools from five states.

Junior Mary Elizabeth Goodell advanced to the Semi-Finals for Dramatic Interpretation. Senior Maggie Salley received the great honor of being selected to perform as a cast member for the 2011 Thespian Conference’s opening show. More than 200 students from both public and private Georgia schools auditioned for this opportunity and Maggie was one of the 50 chosen.
During the trip, the students were able to meet with the president of Wake Forest, Dr. Hatch and several students voiced an interest in this university.
