Teachers are Lifelong Learners
Kindergarten Teachers just returned from an observation of a North Carolina school. The first and second grade teachers, along with one third grade teacher, attended a two-day technology conference in Atlanta, which was specifically geared toward educators.
Teachers Jump Too!
Students, dressed in red, pink and white, jumped during P.E. this week to raise awareness of heart disease. Students were grouped and challenged to choreograph different jumping routines that utilized the styles of jumping that were taught.
Some of the teachers jumped in for some fun, too (photo left)! Mrs. Tebbs played lots of loud music and encouraged the students as she commentated the event over the microphone.
Note: Jump Rope for Heart Envelopes are due back on Feb. 15.
