Dear Westminster Families,
Welcome to the Westminster Parents' Club section of the WSA Web site! Here you can learn about the many WPC activities and ways you can be involved.
As a Westminster parent, you are automatically a member of the best club in town: The Westminster Parents' Club. No dues are collected, no registration is needed, and no golf or dining options are available but there are many rewards. The WPC strives to promote and improve the school through activities and service, to unify faculty and families, and to integrate all families into the school body. Our goals are great and we need all club members to accomplish them.
The WPC supports the school by coordinating and hosting many events throughout the year including
Wildcat Connection, Fall Festival and the Wildcat Road Race. We also provide Parent Coordinators for each class to assist teachers in multiple areas including class parties, field trips, fundraisers and even the Junior-Senior Banquet. Recently we have given funds for school improvements such as SMART Boards for classrooms and a sound system for the soccer field. In addition to fundraisers, the Parents' Club benefits from tax-deductible donations. Any amount is welcome!
Another way to assist Parents' Club efforts is through "free money" purchases. By using products or retailers who offer financial benefits to our school, you can provide funds to the WPC projects. Last year, we received more than $5,000 from these companies. A complete list of grocery stores and retailers who participate in our program is available on this Web site.
