From the Head of School
For nearly 50 years, Westminster has maintained a legacy of excellence in teaching and learning from a biblical worldview. In an environment where every student is known as an image-bearer of Christ, challenged in all educational arenas and loved unconditionally, college and life preparation meet. Day by day, Westminster seeks to glorify God by providing an excellent education that equips students to live extraordinary lives for Jesus Christ.
As a PK3 through grade 12 Christian college preparatory school, we believe in growing and developing students that are prepared mentally, physically, socially and spiritually for the challenges of the 21st century. Our desire is for students to explore the fine arts, love to learn, participate in athletics and engage in various academic teams and clubs. The balance of mind, body and spirit is fundamental to the way our students learn in the wide range of academic, artistic and athletic opportunities offered in each of our Lower, Middle and Upper School divisions. Our talented faculty members are innovative, collaborative professionals, dedicated to supporting our students' growth with a goal of building in each student these five characteristics of a Westminster graduate:
- understand the times and know what they should do;
- move from the classroom to the athletic field to the fine arts center with ease;
- work well with others but are unafraid to chart their own course;
- do the right thing even when no one is looking and even at personal cost;
- knowing they have not yet arrived, always seek improvement and strive to finish well.
Most importantly, we nurture our students' spiritual growth and development through a weekly chapel and advisory program.
