Summer Programs: COVID-19 Update

In accordance with our state and national leaders, guidance from the CDC, and to best prioritize student and staff safety during the global pandemic, Westminster Schools of Augusta has decided to temporarily suspend registration to Summer Programs 2020. We invite you to still browse the offered programs below as we are optimistic that Westminster's Summer Programs will reopen for registration soon. Should Westminster find it necessary to cancel our program, all registrants will receive a refund. Please reach out to Westminster Summer Programs Coordinator Debra McClarnon with any questions or concerns.

Summer Programs

Our summer programs are open to all families in the greater Augusta area! We offer over 30 programs for ages 3-18 that include academic and technology courses, enrichment classes, fine arts camps, a general day camp, and more! Each of our programs extends Westminster's mission to glorify God by providing an excellent education that equips students to live extraordinary lives for Jesus Christ.

Counselor-in-Training Program

The Junior Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program at Westminster Schools of Augusta provides opportunities for students entering grades 8-12 to develop their leadership skills. Participation in our CIT program can for one week up to all six weeks of the summer program. All students interested must apply with our Summer Programs department. CITs work as a team, in small groups, and individually to learn about organizing activities and instructing children in a summer camp environment.

Mandatory training will be provided for all accepted applications on May 13 from 3:30 to 4:30p. Note that there are a limited number of CIT spaces available, and only a select number will be hired.

This program is an unpaid internship, however reference letters will be readily provided as requested. Applications are due by May 1, and a response will be provided to all applications via email by May 8.
