Faculty Train for Cyber/STEM Integration

On Monday, Oct. 30, faculty members from all grades took part in professional development led by the National Integrated Cyber Education Research Center (NICERC). Upper School teachers learned to code and build robots, Lower and Middle School teachers designed a “capsule” to keep raw eggs from breaking after being dropped from a height of 30 feet.

Westminster is the first private school in the Augusta area to conduct comprehensive professional development on integrating cyber education into a college preparatory curriculum.
